OOC: Random character observations.

clumsy_aurorI decided it was high time, as I take a brief break between jobs to eat and procrastinate, to write down some of the things that I've never explicity said about Tonks that still inform the way I play her. It's good exercise, I think. And also, fun.
Tonks is right-handed.
Her wand is 11 inches long, willow, with a unicorn tail hair at the core. (Don't ask me why. It just is.)
In summer, she paints her toenails, but she never paints her fingernails. She can't keep them looking nice enough for that.
Her favorite subject in school was Charms.
There is, actually, a specific incident that is the reason her eyes never change; she does feel that it's like lying to change them, which is what she told Crowley way back when, but there's another reason, as well.*
Tonks, though she can change her body shape and proportions, is a bit on the tall side in her natural state -- around 5'8" or so. She was very gangly growing up, which didn't help with the clumsiness.
This was stated in-game once, but it's worth a mention here, I think: Tonks can't scar.
