She woke up sobbing.

It didn't sink in, right away, that she wasn't in their bed, that the pillow beside hers was cold and vacant. Tonks squeezed her eyes shut, trying to block out the images -- the same they're the same he doesn't belong to me he never did it's just a matter of time he'll figure out that I'm the wrong one and he'll leave -- and reached for him.

But the hand that caught hers was small, and the voices around her female. She started shivering, and someone -- Val? -- wrapped a blanket around her shoulders. Someone else -- Snow? Door? -- held a glass of water to her lips, smoothed down her sweaty hair.

And then she remembered.

She didn't sleep any more that night.

The handwriting is very shaky.

Nyarlathotep has taken over Dream.

Bernard had some sort of hallucination last night. He thought you and I had killed the angel, made him Fall, something. I don't know. He tried to blow up the bar.

He's gone mad not himself. They've put him in a cell so he doesn't hurt himself or anyone else. He'll barely look at me. He won't touch me. The things he says --

I don't think there's anything you can do. I'll let you know if he changes.

Bernard's very ill. Nyarlathotep has taken over Dream, and people in the bar have started having nightmares. Last night, Bernard had a massive hallucination -- I don't know what, exactly, but it had to do with you and I and Crowley -- and he tried to blow up the bar.

He thinks I betrayed him. He won't listen to anything anyone says. They're keeping him in one of the cells so he doesn't hurt anyone, or himself. I don't know how we'll ever get him back. He can't stand to be near me.

There isn't much to be done, at this point, not with Nyarlathotep still loose. I'll let you know how he's doing.
