...okay. It's not my roof. I'll admit it. But any home of Dora's is a home of mine, and this sofa's kind of comfy, so you'll have a time of it getting me to move.
*Nymphadora pulls back her foot, smiling sweetly, and shifts Sunny to her lap as she sits back down on the arm Bernard's chair.*
So, Bernard looks after Sunny during the day, and when he goes out to tend some afternoons there's a girl called Violet who comes in to stay with her, and then we're both with her in the evenings.
And - as long as she doesn't have any other latent destructive tendencies besides the, ah... biting, mind - you know we'll be glad to help if you are ever stuck for a babysitter.
*Nymphadora grins tentatively, looking a bit relieved.*
Good to know. And you know you're always welcome to come here -- I'd love for you to get to know Bernard and Sunny better. They're both going to be around for a long time. And Sunny always needs new subjects for her masterpieces, don't you, lovely?
"Yes!" She beams, then runs to her bag and pulls out a picture, trotting back over and presenting it to Ted. "Fuckin' 'Erlin onna pogga 'ick in high heels," she explains.
*Bernard stares, then absolutely flails and mutely points to Nymphadora as if to say, 'She's the witch here! No swearing to Merlin going on in the muggle half of the relationship!'*
*He leans on the arm of the chair, and pinches the bridge of his nose.*
I think I give up. Short of posting a note in the bar demanding that the patrons stop teaching my daughter how to swear in four trillion languages from infinite wheres and whens, on pain of immediate resolution of all monetary debts, I have run out of ideas.
Not really unsupervised, no. Bernard's pretty much always in the bar when she is, and all the other bartenders, and a good number of the patrons, know her and keep an eye on her, too. Plus she's well-covered with protection spells and we've got a system set up so we know when she's in trouble.
*Nymphadora holds up her wrist, showing her parents the bracelet she wears.*

I'll not be turning you into a newt, sweetheart. I could never get the tails right, so it'll probably be a toad, instead.

Bit of a Slytherin sometimes, this one.

It's worked out pretty well, so far.

It certainly sounds like you've got it under control, at least.

Still should've told us sooner.

Er.
Since we're here, Nymphadora, love...

You're. Er.
You're going to have a baby brother.
