Nymphadora and Bernard collapse back onto the covers, both covered with a sheen of sweat, and both wearing extremely satisfied smiles.

Stretching langourously, Nymphadora rolls onto her side to press a kiss to her husband's bare shoulder.

"Well. I'm awfully glad I didn't go to sleep early, after all."

"Fuck, so am I. Was getting a little antsy there."

But he's grinning.

"I could tell. You were all twitchy when I got out of the shower, this morning." She snickers against his skin.

He turns over onto his stomach and snakes an arm around her, eyes heavy-lidded.

"Well. You were all wet."

"Mmmm. Tends to happen, after showers. Terribly sorry to have been distracting."

Her hand smooths up and down his back, and then dips lower.

"...You have the best arse. I so don't tell you that enough."

Bernard flushes red and grins even wider.

"'S from running around after Sunny all the time."

She grins too, and leans in to press a slow, open-mouthed kiss to his lips. "Awww. I made you blush."

"Not hard." His lips trail down her neck. "Redhead."

Smugly, "Yes. I noticed."

His hand slides up and down her side, thumb stroking slowly over her growing belly. "You're not sore at all, are you?"

She shakes her head. "No more than I have been, lately."

"Groovy." He curls closer around her, biting his lip and smiling rather wickedly.

"So... like. Five to ten times daily, then, no problem?"

"...Well that would make anyone sore, really."

"I think I'd even be sore."

Bernard huffs a laugh into her neck. "Don't tell anyone. My reputation would be ruined."

"I promise to keep mum, sweetheart."

Grinning, Nymphadora waves vaguely at the lamp, sending the bedroom into darkness, and draws the covers up over them.

She rolls onto her side, looking at the way the moonlight streaming through the window glints silver on his hair and skin.

"You tired?"

"Nope." He smiles into the dark. "Wide awake. Could even muster the energy for another go in a while."

"Oh, and I'm shocked. But yeah, I'm not tired, either, thanks to you letting me sleep in a bit, this morning." Nymphadora runs her hand lightly up and down his side, her fingertips skimming. "That was nice of you."

He snickers as she hits a ticklish spot.

"Well, you needed it. And we were up late last night watching the movie."

"Yeah." She's quiet for a moment, just smiling at him. "That was nice, wasn't it? Spending time doing nothing, together."

"Mmm-hmm. Though, you know I prefer our lengthy debates about the sociopolitical implications of mohawk-sporting Oompa Loompas changing the sheets in the guest quarters."

"And you know how much that freaks me right the fuck out, so shut it, you." She's laughing.

"They're sneaky little fuckers, aren't they?"

"Yes. Just please, don't ever tell me if you see them in the flat. I don't want to know."

"They're not keyed into the wards. Don't worry."

"True. Cheers, love, I feel loads better." She stretches again and slides her leg over his, pressing a kiss to his neck.

Bernard dips his head to capture her lips, slowly savoring the taste of her, the feel of her lips on his.

It's so rare that they kiss in the full dark. When they're fully awake, that is.
