Greetings from the Land of Cold and Damp. Am suddenly feeling remorseful for mocking you about your woeful anticipation of the chillier months, and have cast Warming Charms on all my jumpers. Still, the trees are lovely, so I suppose I shall take the bad with the good. Blast me and my eternal optimism.
Last night Charlie mentioned that something was a bit off with the dragons...something he couldn't quite pin down, but definitely not right. He said you and he had talked about the possibility of dragons understanding Parsletongue, and I wondered if you'd have any other experience using it with similar creatures. I'm going over to Wales on Thursday to check things out, so if you've got any brilliant ideas, owl me.
I'm planning to stay there for a few days (might as well take advantage, eh?), so if you're going to be around at the weekend, I might catch you Saturday evening. Otherwise, I expect we'll see each other soon...Hallowe'en's coming up, after all, and I suppose a bit of drunken revelry is in order for the occasion.
