Only it isn't, 'cause they're a part of you in a way you never thought possible. And I mean that equally for both Sunny and Anthony; blood really doesn't enter into things, at all.
And no, I don't think anything would make me give up my kids. I can say, with all honesty, that I'd sooner die than do so.
Well, that's certainly an interesting way to look at it, given that it wasn't so much my mum alienating herself as it was her being disowned for not towing the party line, as it were.
